Who we are

Chiropractor Johan Nilsson graduated in Stockholm, Sweden where he received his license from the Swedish State, and in 1990 he moved from his home country to Spain.

In 1991, the Nilsson Chiropractic Centre opened its doors for the first time in L'Alfas del Pi. In 2006 Johan and his wife, Sharon, opened their second practice in L'Alfas in the Plaza Balduino I de Bélgica, which soon became a meeting point and focal healing centre for the whole of the Valencian Region.

In 2009, Chiropractor Sharon Nilsson graduated from the McTimoney College of Chiropractic, Oxfordshire, England and joined the team.

Between the two chiropractors the centre offers a variety of chiropractic techniques, suitable for people of all ages, from babies to grandparents, for all body types, such as rugby players and osteoporotic ladies and pregnant women. There is a technique for everyone. At the Nilsson Chiropractic Centre the following chiropractic techniques are used: Diversified, McTimoney, Thompson Drop, Gonstead, SOT, Kale, Integrator and Activator.

The Chiropractor analyses the spinal column looking for vertebral subluxations, which reduce mental impulses to the organs and tissues of the body. Once these subluxations have been identified, the Chiropractor corrects them through Chiropractic adjustments that are extremely specific and safe. In this way the innate healing of the body is allowed to kick into action and allow the person maximum expression of life.

Open Room Adjusting

The Concept of "Open Room" in the health World is not exclusive to Chiropractic. This style of treatment can be found in many speciality clinics, such as physiotherapy, orthopaedic emergency rooms, renal therapy, chelation therapy and psychotherapy.

"The community role in healing and the power that it gives has a central role in the recovery of the Patient, and the ability of the Doctor to facilitate healing." This is one of the main reasons why so many hospitals are converting to open rooms.

It gives a healing ambience, encouraging the Patients to communicate and support each other in similar situations.

Our FAMILY CHIROPRACTIC CENTRE is more organised than ever, which means better efficiency when making your appointments and receiving your adjustments. Your children will receive their adjustments alongside you, as a family unit. We open four days a week and offer the services of two qualified chiropractors - Johan and Sharon Nilsson.

FREE Chiropractic Health Classes

Chiropractic Health Classes are given weekly to all new patients as part of the care. You are welcome to attend as many times as you wish. All family members and friends are invited to the talk free of charge.

Periodic Spinal Evaluations in Dedicated Room

Your periodic spinal evaluations will take place in the privacy of the Spinal Analysis Room, according to your schedule of care.

Your Appointment Schedule

Your first visit to the Practice will be to attend a pre-consultation meeting. This meeting is very important because the Chiropractor will explain to you what is Chiropractic so that you have a clear idea of how chiropractic can help you. This pre-consultation is completely FREE.

The second visit consists of a complete Spinal Analysis, after which the Chiropractor studies your case to see if it is a case for chiropractic. On the third visit you will receive your chiropractic report of findings and begin your chiropractic care.
