Stress in Times of Crisis

What is stress?  When the body is no longer capable of adapting to a situation and remains in the state of flight or fight.
When in a stressful situation the brain says to the body:  Activate the legs and deactivate the systems:
The muscular tension increases,

The immune system decreases,

The digestive system decreases,

The reproductive system decreases.

Sometimes we remain in this state of stress because of a problem which isn´t being resolved and therefore we cannot adapt to the situation in hand.  It could be the boss, the family, the economic situation.
